Kiawah Island, SC Landscape Architect

LAYERS Landscape Architecture is a Landscape Architect based in serving Kiawah Island, SC and beyond.

We provide landscape architecture services on Kiawah Island, South Carolina, including Kiawah Island Ocean Park, Vanderhorst Plantation, and West Beach. Our work is grounded in how people actually use their outdoor spaces—clear circulation from driveway to entry, patios that feel comfortable in the coastal climate, and planting plans that respect salt, wind, and shade. For single family homes and new construction, we often collaborate with architects and builders to coordinate grading, drainage, outdoor lighting, and irrigation early, so the landscape functions as well as it looks over time. Whether we’re planning a screen of native plantings for privacy, laying out a pool-side terrace, or detailing walks and low walls, our role as Landscape Architects is to translate site conditions into a durable, buildable plan that fits the neighborhood rules and the realities of barrier-island maintenance.

We provide comprehensive landscape design and planning services throughout Kiawah Island and the surrounding areas.
